took two tries to win the Tulalip Poker Pow Wow Event #5 tonight, a $225 Seniors event. The first try I shoved AA preflop, got called by AA and lost to a flush. Fortunately, re-entries were allowed the first 4 rounds! The second try I got down to 3-handed with about 2/3rds of the chips, doubled up both of my opponents, watched one take the other out and turned down a negotiated 2-way chop when I had 1/3rd of the chips. It seemed to me that it was a better deal for the chip leader than for me. Then I doubled through him (A3 v. KQ all-in preflop) and offered him the same deal - which he accepted. Im going to skip the PLO and HORSE events tomorrow and Thursday so my next big tournament (well, big for Seattle) is the $550 Main event with two day 1s (this Friday and Saturday). Want a piece of my action? US$55 gets you 8% of ONE arrow. (If I need more than one arrow, Ill try to let all my partners know to see if they are interested in a second try....)
