training not totally wasted, for those that know me you know i hate shopping, well, today as i have avoided it for a while i went looking around the shops today. the first shop i went too i came across a man fitting in the aisle, his head was in the shelving, a stranger was calling for help. in brief, i pulled him off the shelving put foot under his head, then he struggled and stopped breathing, so i got him in recovery position and opened his air way which appeared to do the trick, and although he was still struggling i kept airway open until the first aider arrived. then off to nearest loos for a wash up and antiseptic scrub, then forced myself to spend another two hours walking around the shops, back to car park with car nice and clean after a valet, no great buys but a productive morning.
