twelve years ago I was working for a Californian based company, I returned home for some lunch and prepared to call Los Angeles around 3pm as usual. I like millions of others watched in horror (via sky news) as the planes were flown into the twin Towers, I had often eaten and entertained clients in The Windows on the world at the top of the towers, now they were in flames. I called friends in California who were oblivious to events as it was still 5-6am there. That day is etched into my mind, subsequent visits to NYC and to ground zero are poignant, I also heard later that two good "friends a Firefighter Para medic and a detective died that day that really brought it home to me. RIP all those who left us that day
