two days ago, they banned parties. as if a party island with no parties on it will be reassuringly safe and alluring for tourists. doh. and today, they are introducing a curfew for the burmese workers who must all now go home at 10pm. which i last heard of during the apartheid era in south africa. you cant see a kaffir after dark,you understand, because hes as black as the night. just like, according to the governor of surat thani, a farang cant tell that a burmese is not thai because they can speak english. i guess none of these dickhead despots understands that what the tourists are PETRIFIED of is the police. even if the burmese guys DID do it. and i guess not putting scapegoats in jail doesnt include putting an entire nations workers under daily house arrest.
