ughhh...where is the fairness in this. Single or married you can only put so much in your 401k account. And there is a limit to how much you can put. I understand why the limit, and am cool with that. However..I would love to have a retirement account for my wife. We have had one for years. Now they tell me I make too much and can no longer provide a tax exempt account for her. She works as hard as I do..she just does it at home. She deserves the same retirement as I do as far as I am concerned. Don´t you think a home maker deserves the same retirement rights as her working husband. After all, if she were to go to work she could have that retirement..are you the government saying she doesn´t deserve it....
