up for sale/trade is my daily driven, super clean 1997 Mitsubishi Eclipse GST (FWD) with ~69,000 original miles on it. last time it was on the rollers, it made 340whp on 22 pounds of boost, but its running a 10 PSI street tune as of right now. as happy as this car has made me, I think its time to move onto something else and let someone else pick up on this gem. its pretty tough finding a 2G in this condition, so if you want to get into the DSM game and dont mind an Eclipse that isnt stock, but not fully built, this is a fantastic option. completely new transmission installed roughly 2000 miles ago by Speed 1 Racing in Lenhartsville, PA with paperwork to show. tires all around are only a few months old (purchased them as a winter setup). since its lowered, I rolled both of the rear fenders, so wheel rub isnt an issue. while this car is in great condition, it isnt perfect. as is, it currently has no headunit/radio, various interior parts are somewhat ghetto rigged from the previous owner, the rear interior of the vehicle (everything behind the backseat) has been gutted/removed for optimal trunk space. engine bay isnt the cleanest, but the engine (and all of the components) run strong and have given me no problems whatsoever this winter (the first winter Ive had this car out in). lastly, its in need of a new dyno-tune. aside from running a little on the rich side, it runs and drives just fine under low revs (4500rpm or lower), but once you go wide open and/or pass 5k, it stops pulling. nothing a professional tuner (or yourself, if youre savvy with tuning turbo vehicles) cant fix. with the current mods, this car can easily make 370+ whp on pump gas. its a beast... it just needs a little TLC, and I have neither the time, resources, or money to do so right now, which is why Im trying to get rid of it. text and pictures doesnt do this car justice, so I encourage anyone legitimately interested to come check it out and see it for yourself :D located in Lavelle, PA. looking to trade for MANUAL/STANDARD transmission sedans, coupes, or wagons... especially if its JDM (Honda/Acura) or Subaru, but Im open to pretty much anything, but please, NO TRUCKS/SUVs.
