upcoming rabies clinics: Location Change - The last two clinics will be held at the Animal House Adoption Center, 3516 Newburg Road - 473-PETS (7387) Wednesday, August 3, 2011 – 4-7 pm Wednesday, September 7, 2011 – 4-7 pm Metro Animal Services’ staff veterinarian will administer rabies vaccines, implant microchips at affordable prices and issue licenses on a first-come, first-serve basis. The one-year rabies and licensing packages will cost $12.50 for seniors (for up to two altered pets), $17.00 for owners of altered pets, and $58.00 for residents with unaltered pets. The three-year rabies and licensing packages will cost $24.50 for seniors and $36.00 for owners of altered pets. Proof of spay/neuter must be provided for owners (if not provided previously) to receive a discount on their licenses. Microchips are available for $25.
