... update: done done done. A week later than I intended, but done. The Slim Volume submissions inbox has been replied to in its entirety. I am waiting on a promised piece from a writer who is totally worth waiting for, so in the meantime I will write the introduction. Then I edit No Love Lost as a whole organism, and send it to our venerable Pankhearst leader for formatting advice. Proofs for contributors shall be ready in mid to late October. Publication at the end of November or early December.Two more themed Slim Volumes happening next year too, so keep your eyes open for those calls for subs. But for now, Im going to curl up into a ball of tired. I might be exhausted, but Ive decided that being an editor of creative work is the most amazing bloody job in the world (outside of being a writer myself, obvs).
