update; i had a meeting with kathys dr. this evening. we went over all the latest test and labs and xrays and ultrasounds. everything was normal including the size of her heart which usually 2x bigger than normal. after going over everything he believes that kathy suffered a pulminary embalysum. it probably wouldnt show up on pictures, but its likely that a clot came loose and reached her heart. he said it would have been fast and over quickly. she didnt even know it happened. the xray from heart hospital shows a heart that is 4x bigger than normal and her lungs were compressed and filled with fluid. i am so grateful that it was fast and painless.
