update on Loki: Hi Bob and thanks! I think you might be talking about the AKC C.D. - Lokid be way past CGC by now. The rules are on the AKC website; you would need to heel on and off leash, do a stand for exam, a recall and call to heel position, a 1 minute group sit and 3 minute group down. Basic stuff -- the only problem weve had and continue to have is that this is all indoors up here - a lot of noise, activity, etc. than when youre training outdoors. I feel confident that we will pass the BH test on December 1, and am thinking seriously about getting started with carting over the winter. I also have plans in the spring to pursue the AKC Canine Good Citizen piece. Overall, all is well with Loki and I. He is the best! The attached picture was just taken tonight in our home.
