update on chickens: Mr. Big is as gawgeous as ever. His wife dottie will go broody soon, she now has a clutch of 7 eggs. His wife Ruthie got an epsom salt bath last night after we got back from Kingdom Hall. She didnt seem to mind it too awful bad for a wild chicken lol. She sure did love Gracie rocking & singing her to sleep. Ruthie had pasty butt or nasty chicken butt. I gave her some plain chobani yogurt (not a paid endorsement) wheat germ & some starter chick feed. This morning she asserted her once before dominant role as boss hen. Her poop is normal now was liquidy all the time. She hasnt laid an egg in over 3 weeks but no hard masses so she aint egg bound. No blood in stool either. She just need some good ol TLC from someone who loves Jehovahs creation. The 3 babies are growing like weeds! Chick #1 is called Brave for standing its ground against Dottie & not backing down. Ofcourse we did have intervention lol. Chickens are wonderful & a roosters crow is like beautiful music. Will post pics monday!
