Why dont you make a film about violence and killings in Pakistan, Afghanistan, Iraq, Iran, Syria, Egypt, Palestine? Are VHP, RSS, BJP, AMIT SHAH OR NATENDRA MODI responsible for those also? Dear Srinivasan K Das and all others who feel like him, If I was born and lived in Pakistan or any of the countries you listed and if I belonged to the majority community there that had launched attacks against minorities, I surely would have spent my life primarily fighting these forces. I have good friends like Pervez Hoodbhoy, Taimur Rahman, Farooq Tariq and many others in Pakistan as well as filmmakers like the late Tareque Masood in Bangladesh, who spent their entire lives fighting the Taliban and other hate mongerers. They too faced down people like you who accused them of only attacking one side. Incidentally if you watch my films you will understand that I am not criticising any religion per se. I am only pointing out how religion is used for profit and power.
