It tells all who can comprehend it that the people of Scotland are sovereign, regardless of any deals cobbled together between regal men and women and their political retinues, we the people are still sovereign over our own bodies and over our minds. If we say we are independent, then we the people are independent. Scotland is a nation, a nation is made up of natives, if those natives say they are declaring themselves independent from a particular political system, then that nation is independent. Full stop. Youve heard of Scot-Free, theres a different explanation to that term pertaining to taxes et cetera, but really, thats us, we are Scot - Free, we are a sovereign people (powerful) and we say what we are. If we say were independent, then independent we are. When this nation (the natives within it) are ready, we will announce our UDI (Unilateral Declaration of Independence).
