The Chief Imam of Gwoza until his death, was one courageous man in Gwoza that had always summon courage to go round neighboring villages and pick the bodies of people killed by Boko Haram and prepared them for funeral according to Islamic rites. Consistently, he paid last respect to innocent souls killed by Boko Haram not knowing that himself and his entire household will be slaughtered on that fateful day. ALL MEN AND MALE CHILDREN OF 6 YEARS OLD IN HIS COMPOUND WERE SAID TO HAVE BEEN KILLED.
