via Nojma Reflects Every day your husband should know that he is loved and appreciated. He should consistently be encouraged, the food that is prepared for him should be fortified with healing and strength and be cooked and prepared by his WIFE. In your house there should be prayer, laughter, a family growing stronger, love and HEAVEN. Through your actions you support him, your should words console him, your spirit nurtures him and he should know that whatever trial comes his way, you will hold his hand through it; you will walk in the trial together, and also walk in triumph together. Your husband should know that without A DOUBT,you got him! You will be his administrative assistant, his business partner, his PR, his confidant, his best friend....whatever he needs. I think we as women really need to understand our role as a helpmeet. We are to HELP our husbands meet their goals. We are to HELP them become the man we see when we look at them. Being a helpmeet doesnt take away from our personal identity, its exercising one of the many facets that makes us beautiful as women. Our husbands need our HELP, not our smart mouths, not our resistance or rebellious behavior, not our condemnation, not our superior attitude but our HELP. Oftentimes we hinder, instead of helping, then complain about their lack of progress. Which one are you? A HELPMEET? Or a HINDRANCE?
