via Russell A. Shoebotham (thanks) I am actually not only pro Democrat and pro Liberal, I also am pretty much anti-Republican as well. I feel I have a right to speak out forcefully, Because I know whereof I speak. I have been a Republican for close to forty years (not the last several years.) But I was always a moderate Republican. The sort of so-called Lincoln Republican todays GOP hates. In fact, my mothers ancestry going back many generations to the time of Lincoln were liberals (ie Republican). In those days, most all African Americans were of course Liberal, not simply because Democrats were the party of white supremacy, but because the only liberals around were Republicans (the party of Lincoln and abolitionism).
