via Yahoo Philippines I started taking photos in SaGuijo in the latter part of 2005, a year after the club staked its claim at a tiny spot on Guijo Street on the fringes of Makati’s business center. But no thanks to a bunch of corrupt recordable CDs and no money for a proper hard drive, I lost a lot of memories when I was starting out as a photographer. That only drove me to take more photos which, thankfully, resulted in this album of random snapshots of SaGuijo through the years: the memorable interiors, posters that have been taken down or painted over, just like bands who performed there that no longer exist. SaGuijo holds so much music history, it’s enough to last a lifetime—and yet its only been 10 years! Happy anniversary, saGuijo Cafe + Bar Events!
