vil·lain (vln) n. 1. A wicked or evil person; a scoundrel. 2. A dramatic or fictional character who is typically at odds with the hero. 3. also (vln, v-ln) Variant of villein. 4. Something said to be the cause of particular trouble or an evil I think this says it all. When someone badmouths you enough, or allows their friends to badmouth you, you start to believe it. Doesnt matter that someone is not even remotely innocent, they will portray themselves to be. Doesnt matter that you made a mistake (as humans do) and did the best you could. Doesnt matter that you have not badmouthed that someone at all, they will continue to allow the hurt to be put on you. And God forbid if people found out the truth about that someone. On how hurtful, spiteful, and neglectful they are. People will just blame you. You become alone, isolated and full of anger. All the happiness starts to drain from you and is replaced by emptiness. So, you become the villain. And as anyone knows once the villain, always the villain.
