vimeo/101519919 As part of her HCP Project Rebecca Strain is working on a circular mobile art workshop venue that brings creative activities to rural locations including village and town festivals, schools, community groups such as youth clubs, women’s groups etc. to promote wellbeing, inclusivity and creative thinking. The idea came about as a solution for the issue of creative venues and the lack of footfall in rural areas. Whilst on an artist residency in Estonia I came across the IT Bus; a mobile computer repair store. By having a mobile venue, activities can be brought to the area where it is needed. I developed this idea with the valuable input of the participants of the HCP Creative Labs in Enniskillen.
