Filmed in London over the sunny summer months, this 3 minute short film is a candid insight, unravelling the story behind The City Is My Playground by NCG. Nicola Cher Geismar (NCG) is a leading London street athlete, Pilates trainer and artist. Using the streets as her canvas, Nicola is pioneering an original mode of self expression. Influenced by the D.I.Y aesthetics of Hip Hop culture with specific inspiration drawn from the shapes, forms and freezes of Breakin, Nicola combines an urban fashion aesthetic with the immediacy and athleticism of extreme sport. The City is My Playground captures Nicolas unique moments of play in London. Whilst she opens up new perspectives and possibilities from challenging the streets, Nicola is redefining how we interact with the city environment and invites us to discover the urban landscape with fresh eyes.
