vimeo/88010193 Chain Gang is a character driven documentary multi media film that takes you into the real life experiences of several inmates who are on Estrella Jails chain gangs in Phoenix Arizona. The reputation of Estrella Jail is that it is one of the harshest prisons in the U.S., governed by Sheriff Joe Arpaio who covets media attention and is known for being tough on crime. This is not a cliched prison story as some of the characters negate many news medias renditions of the jail. Five main characters reveal their experience of the prison and themselves with unexpected, sometimes disturbing confessions, and humour.
