vote for Tom Torlakson on the ballot for Superintendent of Public Instruction. all parents with children in public education should understand that protecting a teachers due process rights (tenure) serves to keep the experienced teachers who have reached their performance potential in the classrooms. without this right for the teachers, you are leaving too much power with the districts to replace the competent teachers your children deserve in their classrooms with two or three novice ones whose salary would cost the districts a fraction of the ones with experience. dont let republicans demonize teachers and public education. most of the politicians who tarnish the public education of this country have very little care for or very few children in public schools.
