***warning long post*** 6 years ago I got the opportunity to leave the northwest and chase my dream of bowling in college. These have been the hardest but best years of my life. Not only did I get a great education, including two bachelors degrees and two masters degrees, I also got to show the country what talent the northwest has. My 4 years of college competition lead me to a 3rd place, a 2nd place and this week the national title I had been dreaming of since I was a kid. Over these years I have been so happy to see more and more kids from the north west getting this opportunity to come out here and compete! Below is a picture of all the northwest men and women who had this opportunity to compete for the national title last week in Reno. These kids are leaders out here and I cant wait to see the success they will have in future years to come! I hope all of you get the opportunity to win that title and feel this unreal feeling of success. Lucky for me I was able to achieve this dream with another northwest girl, Leea Haworth I couldnt be more proud of the way she stepped up this weekend to make this dream a reality.
