was a CRAZY amazing FUNTASTICAL day with my missy jo as we trudged over the many miles to Selinsgrove ....first we went to Community Aid thrift store...AMAZING store...felt like I got WAY too much but I have NOT been yard saling this summer and this was better than trudging to them and NOT finding things :) went and grabbed subway for lunch...then the bet part of the trip....surprising Chris Zimmerman o my word...he was SHOCKED! i will NEVER forget that look on his face :) priceless! we enjoyed a stretch of shaded grass for our lunch and man that hour went QUICK! then we went to see his sis at work but she didnt work so change of plans and we ended up spending some time at Susquehanna Valley Mall which was FUN...best part of that was Lois ZiesemerStauffer bringing someone to work and we got to SEE each other in PERSON :) thanks Lois for being a pal thru the MANY years :) then we went to DQ for supper n chris met us there and then we grabbed root beer float fixins before heading to his place....the rain had JUST started but by the time we were on the road again the wind was WICKED and the rain PELTING! I could hardly see at times! it was nice it soon stopped as we enjoyed a tour of their LOVELY shop and home :) we had a wonderful visit...soon it was 9 PM and even tho it was hard to pull away we had to come home again....it was a safe ride even tho we saw LOTS of evidence of storms and had to detour around debris. Thankful for a safe and fun filled day!
