was excited that his lovely bride Joanna, their younger son Timothy, and he just saw The Little Mermaid, under the executive music supervision of his friend Christopher Youstra, at the Olney Theatre Center last night, and it was fabulous! The whole production was fantastic, and he has already received flak from Joanna about the fact that he was, literally, crying tears of joy, during the entire of the Finale Ultimo, starting with when his wonderfully talented friend, Elliot Dash, brilliantly and masterfully portraying the role of King Triton, King of the Sea, gave his daughter, Princess Ariel, away to Prince Eric, for whom she had been come human, at the risk of losing her should to the not-so-tender mercies of her wicked Aunt Ursula. He does, however, confess that, knowing the Broadway production as well as he does, that he did miss the song, Human Stuff, and he really missed Ursulas song and reprise, I Want the Good Times Back. However...he loved the show, and he loved his friend Elliot in it, in a standout cast of wonderful singers, actors, and dancers, in it...he only wishes, that he could go to see it three or four more times!
