was pondering an earlier post about creating wings. the conversation was revolving around learning to crochet left handed to create the opposite wing. It has been bugging me for days. While working on the larger scumble, this morning, it hit me between the eyes. no matter the shape or stitch pattern used, the easiest way to create mirror images is to reverse the order of the stitches. you will have to forgive the messy stitching this morning, but here is an example. (lol I dont think the stitch counts match up.) but on the wing / leaf shapes i made 11 hdc into a ring and pulled it tight, one I started with short stitches, the other I chained up to start with long stitches.
