watched UGRAMM......a brilliant rendition of technique, technology and attitude. Panavision my salutes to you, just loved the way it picks up colour and light. Here is an answer for all those tried and wasted gangster movies that were ruling the Kannada cinema spectrum for some time. Kudos to the director and the team. This is what planning the story board is all about. The attitude of the cinema is intact, unlike movies where the director lacks sense and judgement, more importantly the finesse in visualising and rendering. I always keep a tab on movies to see if Kannada cinema is growing, and yes it is growing, but need to grow still more when it comes to certain elements of packaging. Out of the many things I like in this movie, what I disliked is the type of fonts used, be it for titling or for place legends, also appearance of the title animation...could have been more neater and grand, though they surely have done a fairly good job, but that edge was missing. 90% cinematography of the movie is brilliant, there are some shots which didnt rake my interest. Editing is good. The graphic composites depicting parts of the story is good. Sri Murali is really enticing with his presence and attitude he shows through the character...a pleasant come back...I hope he maintains this projection for a long run. Really looking forward to see the next venture of Mr.Prashanth Neel, to know his strengths, for always the 2nd movie of a director is the anchoring point of his true skill sets. My wishes and regards to the team Ugramm :)
