we also visited the great place called kidaripatti- azhgarmalai . Behind the village lies a village ahill, which houses a jain heritage site that contains tamil brahmi inscriptions, rock artand jain sculpture made by great muni achanadhi . Silapathikaram , an ancient jain literary work mentions that kovalan and kannagi traveled this route along with a jain women monk kavunthiyadigal. All inscription in the cave date back to the 3rd century BC. there is a name of madurai as mathirai. There are about 12 tamil brahmi inscription found here.
