we are very happy to have Ronald Kruschak among our tutors, Ronald is a German producer specializing in Cinema for Children. During our workshop he will be tutoring all the producers and overlooking their progress over the 3 sessions. Here is a small portion of the knowledge he will share. Do you think we can do it on Poland too? For about twenty years now, among German productions, children films or family films as we prefer to call them, have proven to be the most solid and success proven genre in the cinema, after comedies. Every year, we have been having two or three films which manage to break the magic € 1 mio tickets benchmark. About 15 % of German productions for the cinema per year are kids/family films. In 2012, there were 7 German kids hit films among the top 75. There are about 15 to 20 new German children feature films opening every year.
