we got our cows on sunday,around 8pm,was supposed to be noon.let her out of the trailer,she gave us a look and off in the pasture she went,we knew she would need to be milked ,so had to catch her took an hour or so she didnt like the rope, tied her up and milked her,all 5 of us tried it,she was patient,we got 1 1/2 gallons.next morning i got up early to milk,Not early enough i guess! she was in the yard bellowing at me,it took 10 mins to get her to follow me to the barn,they ran after me so i had to run to get the gate opened bfore they ran me over!!tied her to thr gate and milked,then ran the fence to see where she got out! was a loose post and she just plowed it over,so fixed that,with 2 posts for extra support! they havent gotten out again thank goodness!she was a little pissy this morn and didnt want to be milked,got a gallon anyway.i guess it will take some time to get used to each other!
