wedig4u11 day ago Thanks Greg, I have been searching for years for this race. I was working at Caliente race track at the time but was layed up with a broken leg and just happened to find the telecast on tv that day. about 6 months later I was at Los Alamitos race track working across from James MacArthurs barn not realizing who he was and who was in his barn. I didnt like who I was working for and had made friends with James crew. Just about the time I was ready to back to Caliente James asked if I would be interested in going to New Mexico to race Easydate in the derbys at Ruidoso. I jumped at the opportunity and ended up being Easydates personal groom and body guard for that summer. One of the best summers of my life. It also opened other opportunitys to work for other trainers like Walter Merrick, Gene Teferliler , Buffalo Wooten and many mores. Ruidoso was like the old west to a city boy like me, I met so many wild and crazy characters there. Thanks again for the video. Keep up the good work! Jerry Pino
