#weedliketotalk There was a slight dip in Colorados #Cannabis sales this September. It went down from $7.7 Million from the previous month to $7.2 million. Most cannabis shop owners say it is due to the low tourist season and expect sales to rise again once the snow falls. While Cannabis sales will never cease to exist, we should expect that after the hype of legal weed wears off, many people will not smoke anymore. Some people are merely passerby smokers who smoked due to the novelty of legality. Some will revert back to their non-smoking lifestyle only toking up every now and then. This is the result of cannabis legality. You remove the mystery of cannabis and eventually people will consider it to be like anything else. People dont go bonkers over a beer and eventually they wont go bonkers over a bowl either. As you can see, legalization will actually reduce consumption and as many of our community members mentioned yesterday: When something is illegal...kids will want to try it. Legalize, and you remove the rebel toker from the mix. Tourists are the biggest buyers in the Colorado industry so well see a spike once Winter comes. Point being....when you legalize you firstly get tax revenue that would not have been there under the illegal scheme. Secondly, you remove the wonders of marijuana to the non-smoker and they will eventually lose interest or find out that they actually like cannabis. Either way, its infinitely better to have a legal cannabis system than NOT having one! via MARIJUANADoctors #CannaTalkAboutIt
