welcome Mr. President: there are 2 basic reasons why other Christian nations go to Israel 4 tourism rather than for pilgrimage? 1. ....and Jesus said to Thomas, ...... blessed are those who do not see but yet believe 2. our God is omnipresent. do u doubt God or his creatures in Israel? or do u believe that prayers said in Israel is louder than those said in Nigeria? well if d BASA signed in Israel is to facilitate more pilgrims yearly, i guess its time for d govt. to hands off sponsorship of any kind of pilgrimage in Nigeria. d savings will please God if invested in education, hospital, roads, electricity,salaries etc more than prayers of a million Nigeria lobbyist who make their way to pilgrimage yearly. as i welcome u back from ur tour of Israel, i need not remain u of hw good governance has transformed a desert into a food exporting land, hw various religion live in peace to fight common enemies, hw politics is clearly distinct from religion. God bless u as u ponder on hw to do same in Nigeria
