welcome to the weather forecast for middle class Nairobi, 4th week - TopicsExpress

welcome to the weather forecast for middle class Nairobi, 4th week of June 2013. On this last week of June 2013, the middle class of Nairobi will complain about the increasing lack of water in some of the estates. They wont do nothing to solve it though. As expected, others rampage about the endless traffic hassles occasioned by the haphazard road construction that has staggered over the past few month. Some will immediately point fingers at the engineers of Chinese origin. Randomly, a few will remember the stale story of a croissant which was bought at art cafe last week, then go ahead to make it unfinished business. As soon as the media airs the progress story of one Chinedu, (a Kenyan who grounded a Kenyan plane in Nigeria), several blondes will quickly equate his act to being an attack on the sovereignty of the Kenyan state, then make noise about it. Without doubt, it is expected that many will complain about the cold weather, and will be seen posting comments such as "baridi nayo", (omg, its cold) accompanied by instragramed shots of coffee (taken while gossiping and complaining some more) from java, savanna lounge and the mug. Very few will remember to complain about the impending capital gain tax and a budget that was bloated to accommodate laptops for dummies. Until the next forecast, take your time to soak up this one. Yours truly, Ngwata Francis of middle class time.
