well I been in a funk all day - sad and teary at times- the last few weeks been rough here in good old Carleton county ... a lot of death sickness and sadness- Hard not to feel touched by it especially when you have your own things going on along same lines with your own self and circle of friends and family...today wouldve been my little sister Amys 37th birthday- she left us almost 2 yrs ago this December... those last months were difficult on all of us watching and waiting for the inevitable I was with her when she passed and I miss her today of all days ... as today approached I know we as a family felt the sadness creeping in - I guess it never really goes away the hurt and grief but on special days and holidays the bandage gets ripped off and we have to bleed a while :( I watch friends going thru that same pain and it breaks my heart in two. I remember all too well the emotional and physical strain and exhaustion and worry and fear... the dread and the shock... 37 yrs is young but she touched a lot of people despite her disability...One should never doubt the impact they have on others however small a life lived even in the humblest of beings can touch many profoundly-
