well I looked out tonight and I see the moon breaking out nicely .Plussssssssssss nice and warm out .I grabbed my trusty telescope and off I went across the street .Got all set up and after a lot of messing around I figured out again where every little part goes again .The last time I did this was about ten years ago so one must learn everything all over again .Oh did I say MESS around !!! I managed to drop the lens little parts all over the place .Rushed to the house to get things right again I DROPPED the little clear one thats about as big around as a pencil .NOw here I am at the table short one piece . Its about 120 ft across the road .So off I went with flash light .Decided to work backward. I got where I should start and was and looked down taking my time and THERE it was .!!. Back to the house cleaned polished and down it went on the floor .Found again .Got things straight, off I went .Adjusted the finder on the side and there was the MOON. Bright as could be .!!! After a couple of lens I had checked out everything that could be seen on the dark and light side .Satisf. I picked up the tele. off I went for the house .Car came with the lights on high I swung the scope I felt something hit my shoulder the lens was gone .!!! This took awhile ! I did find it and made it home with all the parts in hand I THINK. Any ways Im ready I know how and what its all about and soon I will meet with some little people to check out the moon juper. and Saturn cant wait IM predicting a total BLAST for sure . Got to go I have to find out where jup and sat. are at this time .
