well SAD news We had to put down our old milk cow Freckles :-( she had a great life !!!! we have had her since i was 9 Years old soooooo that makes her 25 or 26 !!! we bought her when she was a day old bottle calf, and she has raised sooooo many calves that were adopted and many of her own , i am very proud to say that she is a huge foundation of our herd and a true family member !!!! i know many people wont understand and i dont expect you to understand the attachment to a cow Honestly i can say im more attached to this old cow then i am to most of the horses at our place, We spent many an our with her and i think i pretty much learned how to milk a cow under her :-) plus many other of lifes lessons with her, it was a sad day today , we all cried and said our good byes !!! and robbie probably said it best you have had this cow the whole time i have known you all i can say is Heaven is looking a lot brighter lately , with lots of dear family and dear friends and a good list of all my favorite critters up there
