well after a brave battle withthe evil cancer my wife christine passed away this morning at nine oclock ,this was a lady who would rather buy the grandchildren somthing rather than herself ,she was never one to want for much ,her family was everything to her ,we had our ups and downs and falling outs like everyone else but we never stopped caring for each other ,we all loved her fish cakes ,i loved her macaroni and cheeze ,she always made too much ,but it always got eaten up ,chris loved her thurs and fri night darts and she was alwys happy to get her name in the paper for a high score she had gotten,she loved to volunteer at the koc breakfast on the first sun of the month ,for a number of years she proudly marched in the rememberance day parade ,carrying the flag , cold ,rainy,snowy she was always there marching with the rest of the legion members ,her best joke of all she liked to tell was, did you hear about the newfy magician ,he couldnt pull a rabbit out of his hat ,so he pullled a hair out of his bag ,stupid but funny i guess ,every christmas eve chris and the girls would reteat to the basement to wrap all the gifts for the children , and in the morning make breakfast for us all and then put the turkey on for christmas day ,finally i want to say thank you to all the wonderful friends and family ,who would stay with her at the hospice to take her outside for a change of scenery ,thank you bernadine for all you ve done for your sister ,and maureen thank you ,rose thank you ,debbie ,thank you .... finally to all the wonderful caring ,giving angels of mercy nurses ,volunteers ,camilia was always ther for us all to talk ,laugh ,cry ,whatever this was and truly is GODS waiting room ,thank you ,thank you ,thank you there is a special place in heaven for you all .....please dig deep all of you to help support this truly wonderful heaven on earth ,that we have right here in brantford ,stedman hospice at the st joseph hospital ,i want to end by saying there are spelling mistakes ,and maybe other stuff but you all get the picture ,we will all miss you christine or chris ,finally at peace with all those who have gone before you tell them hi for me , well off to bed to sleep i hope something i havent done for a long time ,good night all ,good bye christine ,i never stopped caring or loving !!!!!
