well been busy with new job and running the hwy I see so much beauty out here early in the morning watching the morning mist rising off the ground went to Edmonton last week and it was shitty weather as I left ft mac and was heading south as I got closer to Edmonton the clouds parted and the heavy feeling I had that day was beginning to lift as I was driving I looked at the sky seen the beautiful blue sky the white fluffy clouds and the sun shining as bright as bright could be made me think about my life and the things ive been going thru and I remembered and old saying that an elder told me along time ago there is always calm before the storm then the storm then after the storm there is the sun and it will shine as bright as it can then there is always a rainbow as the sun shines when u think of life it made me think of mine and if I have learened nothing in my life ive learened that there is always hope and the future some how it all made sense of what the elder told me that day I met him he has gone on in his journey of life but u know it was almost as if he was with me that day as I was travelling in my truk and when I was returning back to ft mac I seen something very interesting I was about 50 km from town and the sky was black and cloudy and just as I thought great the shit weather hadent left then all of a sudden a rainbow appeared and the one end of it was right in the middle of the highway it was then I realized that this elder had made his presence in such a beautiful way and I felt nothing but comfort and at the same time as I was driving thru the rainbow I looked over to the right and there was a wolf at the top of the on the side of the highway and it was then that I knew not to give up hope and things will be fine and the grandmothers and grandfather as well as the wolf spirits were watching over me and were there for me in my time of confusion and there presence has given my the strength I need right now to bring peace with in my life and renewed hope that I can bring peace to the heart beat of the home and have the heartbeat of the home again beat like it did before and that beat is the beat of the drum
