well... home again, home again... and an interesting junket in lieu of my desired visit to the island... for reasons only I and my therapist might understand, I drove to Boston and back this weekend... 11 plus hours up, 9 plus back...not exactly the 7 hour drive it should have been... I will say however that it was educational... I was reminded that New England is my second favorite region of the US, that one should never drive to Boston on Columbus Day weekend, that Connecticut has the worst drivers on the east coast and probably one of the most beautiful suburbs, Greenwich, that Dunkin Donut shops must serve as navigational aids given that you never seem to be out of sight of one,and that the stretch of US RT 1 in NJ between exit 8 of the NJT and Princeton has more Indian restaurants per capita than Calcutta.....handy to know when ducking 45 minute delays on the NJT... and those are just the highlights... and on that note, heres wishing all of you a great day and week....
