well i went saw my new dr today he is a kidney speacialist he looked thing all over and up. and says i have stage 3 kidney disease says things dont really look to bad just need to change a few things an see if we can get going in the right direction so he added another med to lower my blood pressure i gave a urine sample to check for blood cells an they took 6 huge tubes of blood for test .i go back in april to have an ultra sound on my kidneys and the then go from there he also changed my diet a lot im to have no more than 2300 mg of sodium a day.i asked about a beer a day if that was good to flush my kidneys and he said no with capital NO I Said WHAT ABOUT 4 TO 5 OUNCES OF a good red wine he said thats fine it will not hurt a thing and i asked why not the beer he said it is a diuretic and will cause dehydration and the wine is a good source of iron so i reckon i will be ok for a lil while longer
