well the cats out of the bag, we are in the final stretch of production on the new Desert Dwellers album, The Great Mystery, a multi-genre journey with an emphasis similar to our recent singles like Seeing Things and Luminous Axiom. The album features new collaborations, such as the Violin of Hannah Thiem and the East Indian vocals of Anuradha Viswanathan, as well as a lot of familiar collaborators like Ixchel Prrisma (vocalist on Dive into Forever ep), Meagan Chandler (vocalist on New Generation), and Ricardin (Oud on Moonlit Horizons), among others. This album has been a long time coming and it feels good to be in the home stretch. Artist Aumega-ॐega is currently working on the artwork, and we are looking at a release date in April, as well as an extensive tour in the spring to support the album. This is actually the first time myself and Treavor have produced a full length album together from start to finish (only singles and eps together up till now); for many years we have talked about creating a concept album that covers a lot of genres and styles .. so its pretty exciting for us! We have been dropping a few of the new tunes the past few months and the response had been extremely positive at those shows.
