well, things have not gone as planned. Alleys surgery has to be delayed for a couple weeks, he is anemic. :( I am glad they did bloodwork to check him before they started surgery, the vet called me himself. He is doubling his antibiotics- now oral & one to go in his eye, & will be feeding him special to build his system up. Will have to repeat the bloodwork when its time for surgery again. Anyone who promised to donate, please go ahead as planned. He will have the surgery ASAP, the danger is absolutely still there. We just want to get his numbers in a better level before chancing surgery if possible. There will be additional charges as well since more meds & bloodwork will be needed.
