well well well.... The Backstreet Boys were in Winnipeg Tonight. ANYONE who was there had a great time. First off, lets start with the opening act, not bad not bad. Her performance dragged at times, and was literally a double of Britney Spears, but yea, she did okay, but I personally got bored and downloaded her single More Than Friends just because she asked us to check it out. She was good with the crowd, and even broke out a Britney and Christina song... her dance routines and dancers were on point, bravo, however I think her act was 15 years too late... Sorry Victoria Duffield... Now to the Main event.... I hope there was a lot of upcoming bands or Rappers who attended to take notes... cuz WOW. The Boys had the mostly 25+ crowd on their feet almost the ENTIRE time. Even ole boy was standing for most of it.. lol The strongest link was definitely Nick Carter, his voice is still really strong and was good with he crowd. Howie looked like he hasnt aged a day in 20 years. Brian can play a guitar (same with nick) but you could definitely feel his voice was getting aged a bit. AJ did really good, his high notes were great at first but then near the end his voice was worked too hard and it was cutting out at times. and how about KEVIN (leeanns favourite that fukker lol) who knew he could SING.. lol i guess their old label made the decision not to let him sing back in the day, but damn, he CAN SING! lol They did a couple of GREAT acoustic sets which blew my mind cuz i got a soft spot for acoustic guitar... the boys HELD IT DOWN for real... they did a TRIPLE ENCORE, and on the last one.... CAME OUT WITH Winnipeg Jets jerseys. I wonder if Anthony Peluso is pissed they took his name off the jerseys :p They have made new fans, and restored old ones like me, I am currently AS I TYPE downloading their new album on iTunes.... 9.9/10 for The Backstreet Boys concert this evening... if you disagree..... youre fukkin high... lol
