welll todays the day tonights the night im wearing a frock so im not gonna fight! lmaoooo .. not that i would anyway sooo its finally here after months of hard work by our very own Annette Jeffrey Smith Joyce Bowen jo morse and Jim Bowles its finally come to fruition. i guess this is our equivalent to what the kids have today .. a prom we never had them back in our day kids, it was a school disco (if lucky) in a grotty school hall .. a flagon of cider and ur packet of number six stuffed down ur socks! for those even less fortunate it would be docker on tha mate and u were lucky to get a drag on the chewed up number 6 that burned ur lips to buggery, teachers based at every corner watching with eagle eyes for troublemakers (but we were all outside drinking the cider and smokin the said number 6 pmsl) wed all rock up in . sneaked out platformts usually borrowed from ya big sister, but i didnt have a big sister and the only option for me was my dads hob nail work boots ..not really the same! girls drown them selves in just musk or charlie and the boys fell into bottles of their dads brut or old spice no exchanging mobile numbers (what was a mobile?) it was promises of wait by the phone box at 6 tomorrow and ill ring the phone if i can figure out how to get the lock off my parents house phone pmsl, we would leave the house lookin a picture of innocence waving to mums an dads but then soon as we got around the corner .. the eyeliner came out the skirts waistbands were turned over so ya skirt would be more of a pelmet lol and then try to master the walk in the platforms (or me in dads work boots) but u know what i wouldnt change it for the world they were awesome times but tonight ... tis gonna be glitz and glamour all the way and i cant wait to see old friends so a massive thank u to the gawjus annette and her team for all her hard work loves ya to bits hunni xxx .. anyway i must run and start to get ready ... now wheres our dads work boots .......
