went and got Nikki today :)....going to call him Mickey instead. hes such a mellow bird. he stepped up to all 4 of us, has flown around the house numerous times. we did have a bit of an issue with him going into his new cage, he kept flying off....so I outsmarted him in a good way :)...we moved the cage from the dining room to the eating area, and I opened up the top part of the cage. eventually he climbed inside it to eat.....Beth 1, Mickey 0 :) heres a picture of him, dont know his age, and he had been plucking due to being ignored by the previous owners....poor guy. hes eaten out of the cage, devoured some apple pieces, flew to my husband when he came home(never met him before)...this bird is so funny. he also does this hilarious thing with his feet, hell lift one foot up and open and close it when he wants his head scratched....its very cute.
