went down to the foot of the pier this afternoon . expecting high tide. it wasnt but there were plenty bait fish around so i threw up under the pier ...it was boiling hot and sunny and uncomfortable ..i thought it would be nice if the water was moving a little. well then it darkened and got so suddenly windy i had to get away from the edge of the seawall. i was buffeted around so much it felt like i had had a full body massage.the pier...always beautiful always a surprise ...
