west philly basement bangouts!! ..it was another great night of creation, folk rockin out at the Mitten house. ..i was honored to be able to sit in and do some brass while my sis Camae Defstar/Moor Mother Goddess read some works from a few of her zines..one of the most prolific creators i know and know of. ...was great to hear and witness the return of Adrian Adonis as St. SkribbLy LaCroix; youre right, cuz, they do need you out here! ...the duo squad Trophy Wife was great..real, raw, and refreshingly honest.. ..the squad Pink Wash definitely went in.. ...and my brother Luke Stewart came up, playing with Laughing Man, a powerhouse!..yo, if you havent heard them, you may still be living somewhere in the last century...while listening to them, it was made vividly clear to me that we are indeed living in the Nu Day.. ..good and beautiful people enjoying great and badass music and poetry...smiles everywhere. yeah, man.
