what I like most about the re entry is how little of a discontinuity there is its different than other times I have left and come back: the food was horrible so I am not lamenting the bad food here I am appreciating it and the fast internet thanks yeah the architecture isnt as beautiful the sidewalks are boring but its New York and its filled with New York everything that we love everything we loathe just like always the hallways the same the autumn the same I didnt entirely miss it it doesnt feel like I missed anything often when I leave I come back to some gigantic change maybe they replaced the sidewalk while I was away Well, It Was Two Months maybe they did that years ago I cant remember it looks fresh now and they changed the lights in the subway tunnel but they did that only since Ive been back I just hadnt been out of the house so I would have had the contrast anyway anyway I had it nothing shocking just comical keep it up, kids I can stare at them and be just as tired of them or interested as I ever am living here where I live Im missing the falling of the season not because I was away but because I cant walk without pain Im not interested in going to the parties without pain and Im generally not interested in going to the parties and if I want to leave to eat to see a movie to make some money to spend some money to get involved in the city if I decide to I suffer I pay for it with my forever healing I feel like Chiron immortal and unhealable and I walk I walk anyway because I have to which isnt different its just here now which is where Ive been the whole time anyway here in my home (tap tap) right here
