what a GREAT day!! Got in a paddle and swim with my Ultraman friends Martin Raymond, Jochen Dembeck, Gary Wang, Laurie Beers, and newcomer Tobias. Of course the ever wonderful Jane Bockus was there to greet and lead us. I got to reunite with Donna, my paddler for Ultraman last year. (lol, she still feels bad about watching me swim 5kms and then puke and swim for 5kms). I definitely felt the fact that I have not swam more than 100m in the past 12 months as I did everything I could to keep up for 3kms, including hanging off the back of a kayak for a bit. ouch! Being last in the line though, I managed to spot a massive manta ray coming up underneath and let the group know. It was SO amazing!
